Annual Member Meeting Success!
The lunch fundraiser and annual member meeting was held on April 28, 2012. Many people showed up with their families and friends and had a great time. City Foods raised some money, served delicious food made with City Foods’ products, discussed the current state of affairs regarding the coop, and voted in new Board Members: Raj Seshu, Jaynie Keniston, Barb Del Carlo, and Phil Zodiaco; adding to the Board Members that are still serving out their terms: Ben Alkire, Rachael Yanni, and Ben Leonard.

-The Knickerbocker Saloon for hosting this family friendly event for us
-All the gracious and dedicated volunteers that put the event together, working long and hard to make it happen
-The City Foods members and supporters that made it out
-The Short 8th, for playing some wonderful music during the lunch
-The producers from Maddox Farms, Double M Farm, and the Smith Family of This Old Farm. These folks attended the event, represented their products and made it possible for the City Foods customers to meet their farmers, and spoke to the group about their products. Great people!

City foods would also like to thank Cara Fisher, Mary Lehmkuhl, and Cody Hall for their years of extraordinary work and dedication while serving on the Board of Directors. Their terms have ended, but we all hope they will continue to contribute their invaluable skills and knowledge with City Foods. Those three people were the core of this organization for a very long time and we wouldn’t be where we are now without them. We have been very lucky to have these folks with us for so long, and we must make sure that their hard work is not forgotten, but carried on as City Foods grows into the dream we have all been working towards.
